Q: What can I do with this qualification?

The Diploma in Health Science (Level 5) is a pre-requisite to the Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences (Naturopathy and Nutrition) Level 7 which is also offered by the College.

Q: I haven’t studied for a while. Will I be able to cope?

Before starting the actual course, there is a day to look around the Online Campus. Guided activities will help with this process.

Q: Can I call myself a Naturopath or Nutritionist?

Yes – by the end of this qualification you will be able to call yourself a Naturopath or Nutritionist.

Q: I’ve never done online learning before and I worry it’s a bit lonely. Can I talk with other students or tutors?

Yes! There are several ways in which this can be done including forum sessions and speaking with a tutor on the phone or skype. All tutors are available on email.

Q: Will I be able to manage my time?

Q: What do I do if I find I am eligible for fees-free, but I have already taken out a student loan for my fees?

StudyLink advises that you should do the following: Log in to your MyStudyLink account and change the ‘Pay fees’ field in your loan application to ‘No’ (NB don’t cancel your loan application completely if you will still need other support from the loan like the living costs and course-related costs) If you were only taking out a loan to pay your fees, and your fees are less than or equal to $12,000, you may choose to cancel your loan application.
