Graduate: New Zealand Level 5 Diploma in Health and Wellness
Wrapping up my Level 5 Health and Wellness Diploma at NCNZ (now called Aspire2 Health & Wellbeing) in June 2023 was a pivotal moment. As a community nurse, I was already invested in patient care, but my passion for holistic health craved deeper exploration. I had also been on a journey with long covid supported by a wonderful naturopath, which was further inspiration to pursue the diploma.
A2HW’s distance learning structure was a key attraction. The flexibility A2HW offered meant I could study at my own pace, whether on my days off or late nights at the library. The learning platform was intuitive, and any questions I had were met with prompt and helpful support.
The curriculum itself struck a great balance between theoretical depth and practical applicability. The nutrition modules, in particular, resonated deeply. I loved learning how to incorporate these principles into my work with adolescents, sharing them with friends, and into my own daily life.
Graduating symbolised a personal milestone: bridging the gap between my conventional nursing background and my interest in holistic health. It felt like aligning my professional life with my personal passions.
Would I recommend Aspire2 Health & Wellbeing to others? Absolutely. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, their flexible learning model and engaging content cater to diverse needs and learning styles.
My favourite part? The “Holistic Health Approaches” paper. I loved exploring alternative therapies and mindfulness practices.
A2HW wasn’t just a diploma program; it was a catalyst for personal growth and professional development. It empowered me to explore my passions, enhance my skills, and ultimately, become a more well-rounded healthcare professional.
